Many cities in Japan are located in coastal areas and probably have received air temperature reduction effect by sea breez-es. Introducing the sea breeze into the urban area by the "ventilation path" is one of the urban heat island mitigation measures. In this study, CFD calculation is carried out for entire Osaka city where has a various kinds of building to consider the relationship between the urban morphology and wind environment of the urban area. The wind velocity averaged in 500mx500m is not influenced by the ratio of space around buildings and road, but it is greatly influenced by open space ratio such as parks and rivers. It is possible to evaluate the mean wind velocity directly by using the open space ratio than the gross buildings coverage ratio, because the target area includes several kinds of open space.
