Abstract

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the central government implemented a policy of Bureaucratization of Native Officers, in order to develop and consolidate the integration of Yunnan with the mainland. And the official facilities, as a key point in the exercise of power by the central government, were closely related to the policy. Taking the construction of cultural and educational facilities as a starting point, this article attempts to illustrate the impact of this policy in terms of the number of facilities, the spatial distribution, the comprehensive structure and the spread of Confucianism. Shows that: (1) Bureaucratization of Native Officers was implemented in the Dali city, Dali became a representative of the legitimacy of the ruling class in establishing power, and its form and construction gradually converged with that of the Central Plains. (2) The number of facilities gradually increased, the spatial distribution gradually clustered, the integrated structure gradually formed, and Confucianism gradually spread. (3) Through the evolution of these by Circulating Officials , the role of the state functions is reflected, indicating the presence of government governance and reinforcing the idea of cultural identity.
