jaue2021-019: Comfortableness and Creation of Spatial Spirit——Reflection on the Architectural Design of Weihai Xincheng Hospital Based On “WELL Building Standard”

Abstract

To giving an instance of Weihai Xincheng Hospital architectural design project, this paper emphasizes the use of WELL building standard architectural design methods, which highly related to the design process of medical architecture design. Simultaneously, based on the analysis of regional geogr aphic conditions, historical and cultural information and other elements, in order to discusses the recognizing of the architectural design positioning of Weihai Xincheng Hospital. So as to further identify some related facts including the barrier-free design, recognition system, clean environment and intelligent design, discussing the architectural comfort of Weihai Xincheng Hospital. Furthermore, this paper will propose the view that highly related to newly emerging concept, the creation of the spirit of place, from the perspective of landscape design and ward space design. These arguments together lead to the discussion that aiming to provide a new trend for contemporary medical architectural design under the background of the implementation of the WELL building standard research perspective.
