jaue2021-011: Investigation and Research on the Urban Spatial Form of the Station region of Xi'an Metro Line 2

Abstract

This research takes 6 stations of Xi’an Metro Line 2 in Shaanxi Province as the survey objects and is guided by the research method system of "Methodology—Constitution Elements—Investigation Elements—Investigation Methods—Analysis Methods". The three aspects of region boundary form, network form and building form are explored and summarized the characteristics and laws of the spatial form of Metro Line 2 station region. On this basis, this research is based on the guidance content of multi-level policies and regulations, and at the same time referring to the spatial morphology characteristics of the station region under different development modes. Finally, a three-point optimization proposal for the spatial form of the station region of Xi’an Metro Line 2 is proposed: (1) Compact station region boundary form, (2) Small-scale, high-density network form, (3) Building form with rich layers and high recognizability. The research can lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development trend of the station space of Xi'an Metro Line 2, and further enhance the scientific and operability of the investigation and study of the station space structure.
