jailcd2019-037: Regionalization of "Beautiful Village" in China

Abstract

The paper firstly classified the regional characteristics of rural landscapes, including natural elements, human landscape material elements and human landscape non-material elements. Then, the overall method of regional  landscape planning  and  design  was  summarized  for  each  element,  including  respecting  the regional natural environment, continuing regional history, regional updating of rural space, regional cultural integration  and  selecting  appropriate  regional  technical  materials.  The   design   expression  of  regional characteristic elements was elaborated.
