Wind energy is a clean renewable energy, with the general of wind power, there are more and moreapplication of wind turbine. Wind power equipment general based on offshore or plains, In the process ofwind turbine rotating, due to wind and load changing, the spindle bear large torque effect, the impact to theaxis of rotation is also changing, Through long-term accumulation, fatigue fracture become the potentialrisks. If we can effectively predict shaft fracture failure, it will be able to ensure the safe operation of thewind turbine, also can save a lot of maintenance cost, This thesis puts forward a on-line detection method oiwind turbine shaft fracture failure. By measuring the change of shaft transmission torque and shaft torsionalstifiness conditions, to analyze the causes of formation of cracks in the shaft, thus found the omen of brokenshaft failure.
