With the development of the city, more and more industrial areas are moved from city centers to suburbsor even countries. Some of those old industrial architectures left behind are worth of being reserved, which iscorresponded to the eco-design principles of low-cost, low-technology, low-energy and low-pollutionconsumption, Howeyer, in China, most of these industrial areas are transformed to cultural and creative parkswhich lacks of identities. This paper starts from the background and advantages of transformation, givingexamples of transforming cases both in China and abroad. On the basis of differentiating the spacecharacteristics, structural forms, materials and technologies in different locations, it proposes that we shoulduse the ereen concent accordingly, Strategies and conclusions are put forward at the end of this pater. It isexpected that it will provide implications for the green transformation of the existing industrial architecturaheritages.
