Located in the smart community area in Higashida, Yahatahigashi Ward. Kitakyushu Eco house is the model house for Nearly Zero Energy Building. It means, if this house have purpose to utilize the natural energy to satisfy its user needed. Passive design is the major aspect that involve in order to achieve that. The passive design features in this Eco House is from the consideration of wall, roof, window material, solar thermal, cool tube, and sunroom. This research want to find, how far the performance of those passive design to comfort state. In order to achieve that, the passive design performance in Kitakyushu Eco House is evaluated from the analysis of field measurement. The temperature and relative humidity of certain room is measured during summer and autumn period. Humidity and Temperature is the major aspect that related to the human comfort. With fulfilled of the comfort will be result to minimize the consumption of energy.
