With the acceleration of global climate transformation and urbanization, the phenomenon of urban heat island has become a serious situation and which will continue to exist. Related studies have already found that there has a great relationship between the city's albedo and urban heat island. As a typical space in the city, the improvement of the street canyon’s thermal comfort design has become an important part of the urban planning.
In the paper, we use PET as the evaluation standard of the street thermal comfort. We use two factors to describe the street tree planning, include vegetation pattern and height in nine different situations to describe different Tree-configuration. In this way, we could found that in the process of urban street planning, it is necessary to distinguish between north-south road and east-west road. About the north-south street, vegetation height has a strong effect on the thermal comfort. About the east-west trend, change the vegetation pattern could improve the thermal comfort effectively.
