It is related to the sustainable development of a country and region that whether the ecological environment is healthy or not. In this paper, ecosystem environment was analyzed in Bijie experimental area of Guizhou province, China, based on the theory of ecological footprint. The results show that the Bijie experimental area Eco environment is sick, or is in owe-healthy state without considering the fossil fuel. Each county ecosystem environment also is sick, or is in the owe-healthy and sub-healthy state without considering the fossil fuel. So it needs to take corresponding countermeasures to optimize the sustainable development.
