Every detail in vernacular architecture collects memory mosaics from a long history of socio-cultural engagement with the community. In the development of vernacular dwellings, Joglo is one of the strong existences, where conventional vernacular houses begin to grow into more modern ones as socio-cultural and technological aspects develop. Joglo is not only a work of art crafting, but it has also related to nature in a phylosophy way. This development is not spontaneous, but it goes through a process that can be perceived from visual and non-visual aspects that communicate spatial environment conditions that are relevant to the world of architectural modernization. Innovation is not only derived from technological uses, but spatial qualities that support the development of communities in an adaptive manner are also modernization steps that are sometimes overlooked in architectural studies. Especially in Juwana, an area traversed by Java's main economic distribution route called Pantura. With diverse interaction possibilities, a home will feel more complete when it can fulfil its social interaction needs. In this case, proxemics will use as overlap to observe the potential for adaptation of interaction patterns from spatial configurations determined in previous research. This is done to find the relevance of both methods to discover their adaptation in modern housing, thereby serving as guidelines in determining the function of a house according to the needs of its occupants when they wish to make changes. Thus, the durability of Joglo Juwana can be achieved through measurable calculations and good visualisation. It is hoped to produce results as a guideline that can not only be applied in Joglo, but also in various coastal vernacular architectures so that there is an acculturation between modernization and vernacular architectural identity to be recognized in the wider community.
