Within the context of accelerating construction industry digitalization and persistent education-industry disjuncture, architectural pedagogy confronts fundamental challenges including supply-demand mismatches, outdated educational systems, and insufficient technical tool applications. These limitations impede the deep integration between pedagogical frameworks and rapidly evolving industrial ecosystems. This research investigates Industry-Education Integration (IEI) as a transformative paradigm for architectural pedagogy, examining its capacity to bridge these systemic gaps. Through comprehensive comparative analysis of multinational literature, three critical research dimensions are identified: curriculum-industry alignment mechanisms, pedagogical innovations in project-based learning, and institutional frameworks for sustainable partnerships. Methodologically integrating bibliometric mapping with qualitative synthesis demonstrates that effective IEI implementation enhances students' design cognition, technical proficiency, and professional adaptability. Dual-mentorship systems, dynamic curriculum mapping to industry standards, and authentic project engagement emerge as fundamental components for transforming architectural education from theoretical transmission to situated practice. The analysis reveals that successful IEI models can overcome persistent challenges such as incentive misalignment and resource disparities through longitudinal industry partnerships. These collaborative frameworks prove essential for developing architects capable of navigating complex socio-technical challenges, ultimately bridging the gap between academic preparation and evolving professional demands in sustainable built environments.
