International Conference "City+"
City+ is organising annual international conferences on interdisciplinary based urban studies. The first event, City+2017@Cambridge, was launched at University of Cambridge, followed by City+2018@London at University College London, City+2019@Delft at Delft University of Technology, City+2021@Milan at Polytechnic University of Milan, City+2022@Canberra at Australian National University, and City+2023@Perth at Curtin University. To date, our conferences have already attracted more than 320 delegates coming from a number of universities and institutions across countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania. It has demonstrated its potential to be a good platform for sharing research experiences and thinking, developing cooperation opportunities, and addressing urban concerns from multiple perspectives.
Our forthcoming conference, City+2024@Kitakyushu, will be held in October 2024 at the University of Kitakyushu, a comprehensive university dedicated to nurturing talent and facilitating city sustainable development, renowned for its profound expertise in the field of resources and environmental technology, as well as its significant influence and strong industry-academia-research collaboration in city environmental engineering. The conference is hosted by the Faculty of Environmental Engineering. We hope that City+2024@Kitakyushu can facilitate researchers to work closely at the forefront of urban studies through disseminating their research, receiving valuable feedback, expanding academic networks, and boosting potential collaborations.
